Hamster Kombat Airdrop Delayed
Hamster Kombat, a popular tap-to-earn game on Telegram, was supposed to debut its token on The Open Network (TON) in July. However, the company is still trying to figure out how to implement the massive Hamster Kombat airdrop delayed by pre-market trading, and the month ends today.
Though the Hamster Kombat website currently lists July as the target for the token generation event (TGE), developers sent out a long tweet on Monday implying that a token debut is highly improbable in the next two days leading up to the end of the month.
Dear CEOs,
We've received a lot of comments about the new Playground section, and we want to address them.
First things first: Participation in various activities will impact the amount of tokens received in the upcoming airdrop, not the fact of distribution itself – all…

The unnamed developers of Hamster Kombat refrained from officially announcing the token launch’s postponement.
“The team is actively working on making the airdrop happen, and they will share the exact date as soon as they can,” a game spokesman told Decrypt’s GG when reached for comment.
The fact that the same individual also informed Decrypt that OKX is going to provide pre-market futures trading for the future HMSTR token—a feature that is scheduled to launch on August 1—adds fuel to the fire.
You may earn in-game money by tapping on a cartoon hamster in the Telegram game Hamster Kombat, and you can use those coins to upgrade a made-up cryptocurrency exchange. Despite facing condemnation from government officials, the game has managed to attract over 250 million players in just a few months.
Hamster Kombat, following in the footsteps of the Telegram game Notcoin, has announced that it will create a token on TON and distribute tokens to players through an airdrop claim. After its May debut, Notcoin’s NOT token surpassed all other gaming token launches in 2024 in terms of market capitalization.
Soon, OKX will be able to trade the token before the market opens, joining the ranks of other exchanges including Bybit, KuCoin, Bitget, and Gate.io. Before the token generation event (TGE), crypto users can participate in pre-market trading to wager on the token’s ultimate price.
Trading in-game currency for on-chain tokens before the market opens could be particularly dangerous because the Hamster Kombat team has not yet revealed the rate of exchange.
